Dubai Airshow 2025

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that the Dubai Airshow stands as one of the most significant outcomes of the UAE’s forward-looking vision. He emphasized that this vision is focused on establishing the UAE as a global hub for aviation, space, and defense industries, while also promoting innovation, advanced technologies, and international partnerships to develop solutions that benefit humanity and support sustainable growth.

This statement came ahead of the launch of the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, opening at Dubai World Central under the patronage of His Highness. The event runs from November 17 to 21, bringing together global leaders to shape the future of aviation, aerospace, and defense.

A Global Destination for Innovation

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed high-level guests, experts, and decision-makers from around the world, who are gathering once again in Dubai for this international event to explore promising opportunities and envision the next generation of aviation and space technologies.

He stated that over the years, the Dubai Airshow has firmly established itself as one of the world’s leading platforms in its field. With growing international participation from major companies and key stakeholders, the event has become a preferred venue for unveiling the latest innovations and technologies — a true open laboratory for advanced ideas that redefine the future of these vital industries.

A Clear National Commitment

His Highness emphasized that the Dubai Airshow is a reflection of the UAE’s commitment to building a fully integrated aviation system and its dedication to being a trusted global partner in developing cutting-edge defense solutions. This aligns with the country’s broader goal of advancing a knowledge- and technology-based economy, driven by the strong belief that investment in science and innovation is the most reliable path toward securing the future of nations.

A Landmark Edition

This year’s Dubai Airshow is the largest in its history, with over 1,500 exhibitors — 440 of whom are participating for the first time — and more than 148,000 visitors expected. The show also welcomes 490 official delegations from both military and civil sectors, representing 115 countries.

The event will host 21 national pavilions, including Morocco’s debut participation. It also features 98 chalets and 8,000 square meters of additional display space. The show’s innovation ecosystem will include 120 start-ups and 50 investors, further highlighting its role as a hub for emerging technologies and investment.

Shaping the Future of Aerospace

As a global meeting point for cutting-edge aviation and space technology, the Dubai Airshow remains a vital platform for developing international cooperation, showcasing futuristic innovations, and discussing key trends — from airport expansion to revolutionary aerospace advancements.

In every edition, the event reflects the UAE’s determination to push boundaries and lead global progress in aviation, defense, and space. As Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stated, the Dubai Airshow is not merely an exhibition, but a living example of the nation’s long-term strategy — one that puts science, innovation, and global partnerships at the heart of its sustainable future.
