Dubai Property Deals Hit AED 2.1 Billion in a Single Day

Dubai’s property market remained active on Wednesday, with total real estate transactions reaching AED 2.1 billion across 715 deals, according to data from the Dubai Land Department.

The day’s activity included property sales, mortgages, and gift transactions, with residential units accounting for a large share of the deals recorded.

Sales Transactions Reach AED 1.4 Billion

The Dubai Land Department registered 522 sales transactions with a combined value of AED 1.4 billion.

Of those, 42 transactions involved buildings, while 47 were land sales. Residential units made up the biggest portion of the activity, with 433 sales transactions recorded during the day.

The figures show that buying and selling activity remained spread across different parts of the property market, from individual homes to land and buildings.

Mortgage Deals Worth AED 525 Million

Mortgage transactions also contributed significantly to the day’s total.

A total of 176 mortgage deals were registered, with a combined value of AED 525 million.

These included 21 mortgages on buildings, 48 on land plots, and 107 on residential units.

The market also saw 17 gift transactions worth a total of AED 211 million.

Palm Jumeirah Villa Gift Valued at AED 132 Million

One of the standout transactions of the day took place on Palm Jumeirah, where a villa was transferred as a gift at a value of AED 132 million.

Another major deal was recorded in Al Nahda Second, where a commercial land plot was mortgaged for AED 115 million.

Both transactions were among the largest deals registered by value during the day.
