This initiative aligns with DHA’s commitment to smart transformation and aims to improve the quality of life for community members by providing a seamless and efficient service.​

Key Features of the New Service

• Multilingual Certificates: The service allows customers to obtain official birth certificates in three languages: Arabic, English, and Urdu, catering to Dubai’s diverse population.​

• Simplified Process: The procedure begins with hospitals in Dubai submitting birth notifications and required documents through an electronic system. Subsequently, customers can complete their applications via the DHA’s website, select the number of copies needed, and pay the fees electronically.​

• Swift Delivery: Certificates are issued within one working day and can be delivered to customers through email, mobile phone, or via a print copy through courier services, ensuring convenience and speed.​

Enhanced Customer Experience

Dr. Ramadan Al Blooshi, Advisor to the Director-General of DHA and Acting Director of the Public Health Protection Department, highlighted that this new service reflects the authority’s dedication to enhancing customer experience by offering more accessible, faster, and efficient services. He emphasized the service’s role in reducing time and effort for customers while promoting digital transformation in government services, aligning with Dubai’s vision of providing world-class services.​

Additional Services

The digital platform also facilitates the issuance of additional copies of birth certificates or replacements for lost ones. Requirements include providing a copy of the previous certificate, if available, or attaching a police report in case of loss. Multiple payment options are available, including electronic payment, credit cards, or bank transfers.​

DHA has established a dedicated support service for inquiries related to birth certificate issuance, accessible via the toll-free number 800 DHA. Customers can receive immediate assistance regarding application procedures, required documents, and available delivery options.​
