Dubai Silicon Oasis, part of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority “DIEZ”, has announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Noon, through its fast delivery platform “Noon Minutes”, to support innovation, accelerate the growth of startups, and promote the use of advanced technologies across future-focused sectors.

The move comes as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for technology and the digital economy. It also aligns with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which seeks to enhance the emirate’s competitiveness and support sectors driven by knowledge and innovation.

The agreement was signed by Bader Buhannad, Director General of Dubai Silicon Oasis, and Ali Kafeel Hussain, Chief Commercial Officer at Noon. The partnership reflects the commitment of both sides to creating a practical environment that helps entrepreneurs and innovators develop their ideas and turn them into applicable solutions.

Under the partnership, the two parties will work on establishing testing environments for technology solutions, launching dedicated business accelerator programs, and developing platforms for knowledge exchange and research and development projects. The partnership also aims to build an integrated business ecosystem that allows startups to test their solutions in real operational environments, helping them improve their products and expand their businesses.

The first phase of the cooperation will focus on benefiting from Noon Minutes’ expertise in quick commerce and last-mile delivery services, while exploring innovative solutions in future mobility and smart logistics. This phase is expected to create new opportunities for startups and innovators operating within Dubai Silicon Oasis.

Bader Buhannad said the partnership strengthens Dubai Silicon Oasis’ role as a key driver of a knowledge and innovation-based economy. He noted that the oasis provides an advanced environment that enables companies to develop transformative technologies and expand their use in the market.

For his part, Ali Kafeel Hussain said the cooperation with Dubai Silicon Oasis is not limited to quick commerce, but also extends to supporting founders and innovators and enabling them to turn their ideas into projects that can be implemented and scaled.

This partnership is in line with DIEZ’s strategy to accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies, encourage entrepreneurship, and support the growth of future sectors in Dubai, further reinforcing the emirate’s position as an attractive destination for technology and innovation-driven companies.
