Hotel room revenue in the UAE rose 75% in the third quarter of 2026 compared with the same period last year, according to figures from Global Hotel Alliance (GHA). The increase came as demand for domestic hotel stays and regional travel continued to support the market. The UAE also secured third place worldwide for revenue generated by guests enrolled in GHA DISCOVERY, the alliance’s loyalty program.
Global Hotel Alliance Revenue Exceeds $1 Billion
Across its global operations, the alliance reported total revenue of $1.04 billion for the third quarter, an increase of 27% from a year earlier. Hotel room revenue reached $843 million, up 28% over the same period. The alliance attributed the growth to a 33% rise in the number of room nights, along with a 6% increase in the average length of stay.
International Travel Drives Hotel Room Revenue Growth
International travel played the biggest role in the alliance’s growth during the quarter. Room nights booked by international travelers increased 40%, bringing in $589 million in room revenue. Domestic travel also recorded growth, with room revenue rising 19% to $254 million.
