Dubai Holding Asset Management has announced the groundbreaking of Lantana Hills, its new residential community located in the heart of Dubai Science Park in Al Barsha South. The project marks a new step in expanding the company’s portfolio of family-focused residential developments in Dubai.

The group also announced the appointment of AMANA Group, a regional specialist in design and construction, as the main contractor for the project under an agreement worth AED 680 million.

Lantana Hills will include 390 private townhouse units, designed within an integrated residential community offering a wide range of facilities and services. The homes will feature spacious family layouts with three and four bedrooms, supported by thoughtful architectural design that responds to the needs of modern living and provides a practical, comfortable residential environment.

The project will also include landscaped open spaces, tree-lined areas, and social facilities that serve residents and enhance quality of life within the community. Its proximity to schools, healthcare centres, and nearby retail destinations further supports its appeal to families seeking a well-connected home in Dubai.

According to Dubai Holding Asset Management, Lantana Hills is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2027.

In terms of sustainability, the project has received LEED Silver pre-certification under the Cities and Communities: Plan and Design rating system. The process for full certification is continuing as planned, in line with Dubai Holding’s broader sustainability agenda.

Lantana Hills enjoys a strategic location within Dubai Science Park, offering easy access to several of Dubai’s key districts and destinations. The community is around 10 minutes from Dubai Hills Mall, 15 minutes from Mall of the Emirates, and 20 minutes from Dubai Mall, while Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International Airport is approximately 25 minutes away.

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Malek Al Malek, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Holding Asset Management, along with Nabil Mohammed Ramadan, Chief Marketing and Strategic Planning Officer; Ismail Mohammed, Chief Development and Technical Services Officer; and Fatma Al Muhairi, Executive Director of Development and Technical Services. From AMANA Group, attendees included Group CEO Richard Abboud, Chief Operating Officer Joe Labaki, and General Manager Tarek Alawneh.

Dubai Holding Asset Management is one of the key players in the development and management of real estate assets in Dubai. The group is the largest strategic shareholder in Dubai Residential REIT, and owns and operates Dubai Retail, which manages 56 retail centres and destinations. It is also the largest strategic shareholder in TECOM Group.

Lantana Hills comes as part of the group’s continued role in developing residential communities and urban destinations that meet the current needs of residents, while supporting the ongoing growth of Dubai’s urban and economic landscape.
