Dubai Multi Commodities Centre has announced the launch of two new commercial towers, One Uptown Place and Two Uptown Place, as part of the ongoing expansion of Uptown Dubai.
The project will add more than 560,000 square feet of Grade A office space, taking the total commercial capacity in the district to over 1 million square feet. Leasing is expected to begin in the second half of the year, while project completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.
The move comes as demand continues to grow for high-quality office space, particularly from businesses operating in high-value sectors. The launch also builds on recent initiatives such as FinX and the Wealth Centre, further strengthening Uptown Dubai’s position as an integrated destination for business, trade, and finance.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, said companies are increasingly prioritising business environments that offer connectivity, flexibility, and better access to capital and markets. He noted that the addition of the two towers will significantly expand Uptown Dubai’s commercial offering and support the needs of a wider range of companies.
He added that the towers have been designed to accommodate different business requirements, with office spaces ranging from 2,100 to 17,600 square feet, including integrated multi-level layouts. According to him, this reflects the scale and complexity of demand emerging from sectors such as trade, finance, and technology.
The development is part of DMCC’s broader effort to build next-generation business ecosystems, including the Wealth Centre, FinX, and the Maritime Trade Centre. Together, these platforms are helping shape Uptown Dubai into a fully integrated district that offers companies a connected base for growth and international operations.
The two towers will rise 21 and 15 storeys respectively. In addition to office space, the development will feature 82,000 square feet of retail space, along with restaurants, shopping options, a swimming pool, more than 1,600 parking spaces, and a transport link connecting the project to Dubai Metro.
The project is also targeting LEED Gold certification through advanced systems designed to improve energy and water efficiency, while enhancing indoor environmental quality.
With this latest addition, Uptown Dubai continues to expand its role as one of Dubai’s emerging business hubs, offering modern office space alongside integrated amenities and strong transport connectivity.
