Meraas, a subsidiary of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a significant construction contract worth $545 million (AED 2 billion) to Arabian Construction Company LLC for the development of the Design Quarter in Dubai Design District (d3).
This project is the first residential community within d3. The Design Quarter will feature 558 apartments across three buildings, one low-rise and two high-rise towers—connected by a landscaped podium. This shared space will offer a range of amenities, including co-working spaces, an indoor-outdoor gym, swimming pools, barbecue areas, and play zones for children.
Construction is set to begin soon, with completion expected by mid-2027. As part of Dubai Holding Real Estate’s broader vision, this initiative aims to blend residential living with creative business districts, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global design and innovation center.
