Salaries and Employee Benefits

Pilot Package Worth About AED 1.2 Million a Year
Pilot roles come with one of the most valuable packages offered by the Group.
The total annual package is worth around AED 1.2 million, or about $320,000.
It includes an annual cash salary of approximately AED 575,000, which works out to roughly AED 48,000 per month, based on an average of 85 flying hours.
Housing and utilities are also included.
For pilots with children, the package includes an annual education allowance of up to AED 52,250 for primary school students and up to AED 79,750 for secondary school students, covering as many as three children.
Pilots are also entitled to 42 days of annual leave.
In addition, they receive confirmed annual travel tickets for themselves and eligible dependents in Business Class, with the possibility of upgrading to First Class under the applicable conditions.
Other benefits include the Emirates Platinum Card, which provides access to exclusive discounts, as well as reduced travel rates for employees and eligible dependents.
The package also includes a retirement savings plan with an employer contribution, comprehensive medical insurance, life and accident insurance, and protection in the event of loss of medical license.
Eligible employees may also receive an annual profit share depending on the company’s performance.
National Cadet Pilot Program Salaries
The National Cadet Pilot Program offers a structured route for candidates who want to become professional pilots.
During the ground school and flight training stages, trainees receive a monthly salary of AED 6,365.
Each of these stages lasts 12 months, with meals and accommodation provided throughout the training period.
The monthly salary then increases to AED 18,335 during the type rating stage, which lasts three months.
During the eight-month line training stage, the salary rises again to AED 31,745 per month.
Once all stages of training are successfully completed, a First Officer can earn around AED 52,000 per month, including the basic salary and fixed allowances.
Cabin Crew Pay and Benefits
Cabin crew positions also come with a tax-free salary and several additional benefits.
The basic monthly salary is AED 4,980, with an additional flying payment of AED 69.60 for each flying hour.
Based on an average of around 80 to 100 flying hours per month, total monthly earnings can reach approximately AED 11,000.
Meal allowances for overnight stops are added to the following month’s salary.
The company also provides hotel accommodation during trips, as well as transportation to and from the airport.
