In an announcement for H1 of 2025, the Dubai International Chamber (part of Dubai Chambers) revealed that 58% of the multinational corporations (MNCs) it drew to Dubai came from Asia. Following Asia, Europe contributed 16.1%, the Middle East & Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) made up 12.9%, while Africa and the Americas both accounted for 6.5% each.
A similar trend was evident among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Asia again topped the list with 49.1% of those attracted, followed by the Middle East & CIS with 22.3%, Africa with 11.6%, Europe with 9.8%, and the Americas with 7.1%.
In addition to these regional breakdowns, the Chamber reported a striking 138% year‑on‑year increase in the total number of companies (both MNCs and SMEs) establishing operations in Dubai during the first half of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024.
Dubai International Chamber states that these figures underscore its strategy and success in reinforcing the Emirate’s appeal as a premier global business destination.
