Dubai’s real estate market remained active over the past week, with transactions registered by the Dubai Land Department reaching a total value of AED 10.6 billion.
The figure came from 4,092 transactions, including property sales, mortgages, and gift deals, showing continued activity across different parts of the market.
Property Sales Account for AED 7.1 Billion
Sales made up the largest share of the week’s real estate activity, with 3,098 transactions worth AED 7.1 billion.
These included 211 land sales, 2,708 residential unit sales, and 179 building sales.
Residential properties clearly accounted for most of the transactions, while land and building sales also contributed to the overall performance of the market during the week.
Mortgages Reach AED 2.7 Billion
Mortgage transactions were another major part of the weekly total. The Dubai Land Department recorded 845 mortgage deals worth AED 2.7 billion.
Of these, 227 were mortgages on land, 500 involved residential units, and 118 were linked to buildings.
The market also saw 149 gift transactions valued at AED 806 million, helping bring total real estate transactions for the week to AED 10.6 billion.
Off-Plan Sales Outpace Ready Properties
Off-plan properties continued to attract buyers and investors during the week.
Sales of properties under development reached AED 3.9 billion across 2,150 transactions, making them the strongest segment in both value and number of deals.
Ready properties, meanwhile, recorded AED 3.1 billion in sales through 948 transactions.
The numbers show that buyers remained active in both segments, although off-plan projects maintained a clear lead during the week.
Madinat Al Mataar Tops Dubai Areas by Sales Value
Looking at sales by location, Madinat Al Mataar ranked first, with transactions totaling AED 997 million.
Business Bay followed with AED 658 million, while Al Yufrah 1 came in third with AED 381 million.
The Burj Khalifa area ranked fourth after recording sales worth AED 302 million, followed by City of Arabia with AED 272 million.
High-Value Deals Stand Out
Several large transactions were also recorded during the week.
A residential land plot in City of Arabia was mortgaged for AED 175 million, while another plot in Dubai Hills was mortgaged for AED 143 million.
The luxury market also saw a notable deal in Business Bay, where an apartment at Bugatti Residences by Binghatti was sold for AED 63 million.
The transaction adds to the continued activity in Dubai’s high-end residential market, particularly in branded and luxury developments.
