Dubai Internet City (DIC), the leading hub for global technology companies in the region, is set to showcase Dubai’s rapidly growing digital economy and tech ecosystem at the first-ever edition of GITEX Europe, held in Berlin from May 21 to 23, 2025. This key participation aims to open new doors for collaboration between tech pioneers from Dubai and Europe, fostering cross-continental innovation and growth.
Building on its successful appearances at previous GITEX events, including the recent debut of GITEX Asia in Singapore, DIC—part of the TECOM Group’s specialized business communities—will leverage the globally recognized GITEX platform to deepen partnerships between tech players, innovators, and talent from both regions.
At the heart of the event, the Dubai Internet City Pavilion will serve as a dynamic space where exhibitors and visitors can explore the wealth of opportunities within Dubai’s thriving technology sector. With over 4,000 clients ranging from global tech giants like Google, Meta, and SAP to Fortune 500 companies and ambitious startups, the community employs more than 31,000 tech professionals and houses 20 innovation and R&D centers.

Speaking on the occasion, Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President – Commercial, TECOM Group, and Managing Director of Dubai Internet City, emphasized the importance of strengthening tech ecosystems across borders to accelerate global digital economy growth.

Additionally, TECOM Group’s in5 innovation centers will join the Dubai Pavilion, led by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, at GITEX Europe. in5 will spotlight the success stories of its flourishing community, underlining the immense potential of UAE-based startups to make a global impact.
