The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy (DCDE) recently participated in GITEX Europe 2025, held from May 21 to 23 in Berlin, Germany. As the event’s Digital Ecosystem Partner, DCDE engaged with 56 European technology companies, including three unicorns and 21 firms each generating over $100 million in annual revenue.
During the exhibition, DCDE conducted discussions with 35 investors and 28 digital ecosystem partners from Germany and across Europe. These meetings focused on exploring collaborative opportunities in digital economy and innovation sectors. The chamber’s pavilion attracted approximately 580 visitors, offering insights into Dubai’s integrated infrastructure and initiatives designed to support digital enterprises.
A highlight of DCDE’s participation was promoting Expand North Star 2025, scheduled for October 12–15 at Dubai Harbour. This event, organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by DCDE, is recognized as the world’s largest gathering for startups and investors. In a pitch competition held during GITEX Europe, Czech startup BatteryCheck and Portugal’s WiseWorld secured fully funded opportunities to participate in Expand North Star 2025.
Additionally, DCDE showcased three Dubai-based companies—CAFU, MUV, and DubbDev—as examples of the emirate’s vibrant digital startup ecosystem. These firms exemplify the innovative potential and growth opportunities available within Dubai’s digital economy.
DCDE’s active involvement in GITEX Europe 2025 underscores its commitment to positioning Dubai as a global hub for digital innovation and entrepreneurship. By fostering international partnerships and attracting high-growth tech companies, the chamber aims to enhance Dubai’s status as a leading destination for digital business ventures.
