Dubai and Abu Dhabi Stock Markets See AED 257 Billion Growth in Market Value

Dubai and Abu Dhabi Stock Markets

The UAE’s stock markets have recorded an impressive rise in value, with the combined market capitalization of listed companies increasing by AED 257 billion. This growth highlights the strength of the country’s financial markets and their ability to attract both local and international investors.

According to the latest figures, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) have shown significant gains. Together, the top 20 companies listed on these markets are now valued at around AED 2.9 trillion, representing 77.6% of the total market capitalization.

Several factors have contributed to this upward trend. Investor confidence has been bolstered by strategic government policies and successful initial public offerings (IPOs). For instance, recent IPOs added approximately AED 21.3 billion to the markets, improving liquidity and drawing more funds into the UAE’s financial system.

Key sectors such as real estate, banking, and energy have also driven this growth. Major contributors include companies like International Holding Company (IHC), Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and ADNOC Gas, which have significantly impacted the overall market performance.
