Under the gracious directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority is organizing the 28th edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, WETEX, from October 20 to 22, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority announced that more than 130 Chinese companies will participate as part of the international pavilion of the People’s Republic of China, reflecting the exhibition’s importance as a platform that brings together leading global companies specializing in energy, water, environment, and technology.

Chinese Companies Showcase the Latest Energy and Technology Solutions

The Chinese companies participating in WETEX 2026 will showcase their latest innovations and products across several advanced fields, including clean and renewable energy, energy storage, and solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of energy and water networks, in addition to sustainability, smart cities, and environmental protection.

The solutions on display will also cover artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation technologies, giving visitors the opportunity to explore a wide range of innovations that contribute to the development of vital sectors and enhance the efficiency of services and infrastructure.

The strong Chinese presence at the exhibition highlights growing interest in opportunities for cooperation in technology, sustainability, and energy, while also underscoring Dubai’s importance as an international hub for showcasing innovation and reaching regional markets.

WETEX Strengthens Cooperation Between the UAE and China
