More than 310 new companies chose Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), part of DP World, as the base for their operations during the first half of 2026, bringing the total number of companies in the free zone to more than 11,650.
According to DP World’s performance report for the first half of the year, Jafza continues to strengthen its position as a leading investment destination. The report noted that facilities across the free zone recorded high occupancy levels, supported by continued demand for land, warehouses, and office space.
The data showed that warehouses and storage facilities in Jafza achieved an occupancy rate of 98%, while residential units at the site recorded 97% occupancy. Offices and land, meanwhile, posted occupancy rates of around 93%.
Jafza is one of the world’s largest commercial free zones and is home to thousands of companies from more than 150 countries, including major multinational corporations. It also accounts for a significant share of Dubai’s total foreign direct investment.
Thanks to its strategic location at the crossroads of global trade, Jebel Ali Port and Jafza offer an integrated multimodal ecosystem covering sea, air, and land transportation, supported by extensive logistics facilities. The hub also provides direct access to markets representing more than 3.5 billion consumers.
Jafza serves as a major trade and business hub between Asia, Europe, and Africa, connecting some of the world’s fastest-growing manufacturing and consumer markets.
Over the past four decades, Jafza has built a culture centered on long-term relationships with customers and strong partnerships with global investors, while continuing to provide advanced infrastructure and high levels of business support.
