Dubai Entrepreneurs, in partnership with Antler, the global venture capital firm specializing in supporting startups, has announced the launch of the Entrepreneurs Academy. The six-week training program has been designed to support individuals who are looking to enter the field of entrepreneurship and take their first steps toward establishing their own companies.
The academy aims to meet the needs of ambitious individuals who are planning to launch new business ventures by providing them with practical knowledge, relevant experience, and the confidence needed to enter this field. It also offers a structured path that allows participants to learn how to identify opportunities, evaluate ideas, build products, and understand the key requirements for launching and growing businesses.
The program combines in-person and virtual sessions, with the participation of a group of founders, investors, and experts from leading technology companies, including Nvidia and Amazon Web Services. Through these sessions, participants will receive practical guidance and gain direct access to Dubai’s startup ecosystem.
The program also gives participants the opportunity to explore the latest tools and working methods powered by artificial intelligence, which are increasingly shaping the way startups are launched. This helps entrepreneurs move from the idea stage to the execution stage more quickly and clearly, while receiving the support needed to overcome early-stage challenges.
Hadi Badri, CEO of Dubai Economic Development Corporation, the economic development arm of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, said that Dubai Entrepreneurs was launched to make access to the entrepreneurship ecosystem easier by providing founders with the tools, networks, and support needed to succeed. He added that the launch of the Entrepreneurs Academy represents a new step toward opening the door for a new generation of entrepreneurs and offering them a practical path to turn their ideas into real businesses.
Badri explained that the collaboration with Antler will help more idea owners begin their journey in entrepreneurship, strengthening Dubai’s ecosystem for startups and fast-growing companies. He noted that the initiative also supports the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and reinforces the emirate’s position as a global destination for business, investment, and innovation.
For his part, Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said that the Entrepreneurs Academy program aims to support promising and ambitious talent by equipping them with practical experience, specialized knowledge, and the technical and commercial tools needed to develop technology-based entrepreneurial projects capable of growth and sustainability.
Al Gergawi added that entrepreneurs participating in the program will benefit from diverse expertise within a supportive startup ecosystem, helping them launch their ventures and further strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for innovation and the digital economy.
This step comes as part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to provide a supportive environment for the growth of startups and to empower ambitious idea owners with the tools, knowledge, and networks needed to turn their ideas into real projects with the potential to grow and develop.
