Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under Dubai Chambers, organized a new event as part of its “Business Opportunities Under the Spotlight” initiative. The session focused on exploring expansion opportunities for local companies in the markets of Poland and Hungary, in line with the chamber’s efforts to support Dubai’s business community and strengthen its ability to enter promising global markets.

The event attracted 130 participants, who were introduced to key trade and investment opportunities in both markets, along with the main requirements and mechanisms for doing business in the two Central European countries. Participants also gained insights into promising economic sectors and effective strategies for entering these markets and building a sustainable presence.

The session comes as part of preparations for the “New Horizons for External Expansion” initiative, which gives Dubai-based companies the opportunity to join trade missions organized by Dubai Chamber of Commerce to carefully selected international markets. The chamber is planning to organize trade missions to Poland and Hungary during the fourth quarter of this year, creating opportunities for companies to connect directly with potential partners and explore new areas of cooperation.

His Excellency Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, Director General of Dubai Chambers, said the chamber remains committed to strengthening the ability of private sector companies to benefit from the quality opportunities offered by global markets. He noted that this is achieved by building bridges of cooperation with international partners and providing effective platforms for communication, knowledge sharing, and exchange of expertise.

He added that continuing to support companies in expanding their operations abroad contributes to their sustainable growth and enhances their competitiveness internationally. These efforts are aligned with Dubai’s vision to reinforce its position as a global hub for business, trade, and investment, while enabling the business community to access new growth opportunities across the world.

The event included a presentation on the role played by Dubai Chamber of Commerce in supporting companies in the emirate that are looking to expand internationally. It also provided an overview of the trade and investment opportunities available in the markets of Poland and Hungary.

The “Business Opportunities Under the Spotlight” series provides participants with in-depth information about target markets, along with guidance and support throughout the different stages of international expansion. This includes access to updated market data, business practice guidelines, company establishment procedures, and mechanisms for forming partnerships and joint ventures.
