Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has reaffirmed its commitment to consistently rewarding shareholders through regular dividend distributions since its listing on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) in November 2022. The company follows a policy of paying dividends twice a year, reinforcing investor confidence and delivering steady returns.

According to a recent company statement, the total dividends distributed to shareholders over the past three years have reached AED 2.575 billion. This reflects the company’s strong financial performance and continued growth in its operations.

Empower’s CEO, Ahmad Bin Shafar, stated that the company’s rising profit results demonstrate the success of its strategy focused on expansion and innovation. He noted that the growth in earnings has been closely linked to the expansion of projects within the company’s portfolio and the continuous improvement of operational efficiency.

Bin Shafar added that Empower remains committed to delivering on the objectives shared with shareholders since its market listing, while continuing to strengthen its position in the district cooling sector.

In 2023, Empower’s general assembly approved cash dividends totaling AED 850 million. The amount was paid in two equal installments of AED 425 million each during April and October, in line with the company’s commitment to semi-annual dividend distributions during the first two financial years following its listing.

During the 2024 financial year, the company maintained the same dividend level, distributing AED 850 million to shareholders. The payments were also made in two equal installments of AED 425 million in April and October.

In 2025, shareholders approved a higher dividend distribution totaling AED 875 million. The amount was paid in two equal installments of AED 437.5 million each in April and October.

These consistent dividend payments highlight Empower’s stable financial performance and its ability to sustain revenue growth as its project portfolio expands and operational capabilities continue to develop, further strengthening its position as a leading district cooling provider in the region.
