Work on Dubai Islands is moving ahead, with Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, awarding a new contract for marine and beachfront works on Island B. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027 and includes work along the island’s coastline.
320-Meter Beachfront Extension Near Bay Villas
One part of the contract involves adding 320 meters of beachfront near Bay Villas. The residential community comprises 636 homes, with a mix of villas and townhouses. The additional beachfront will be developed alongside this community as part of the work planned for Island B.
Rehabilitation of 3 Kilometers of Island B’s Western Coastline
The contract extends beyond the area near Bay Villas. It also includes the rehabilitation of roughly 3 kilometers of shoreline along the western side of Island B, covering another section of the island’s coastline.
Dubai Islands Continues to Develop as a Residential and Investment Destination
The newly awarded contract is part of the work underway at Dubai Islands. On Island B, the plans cover both the beachfront near Bay Villas and a longer stretch of the western coastline, bringing the two areas into the latest phase of development.
