Dubai Real Estate: Top 10 Markets Account for 65.4% of International Interest

Dubai’s real estate market continues to attract attention from around the world, with India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia emerging as the five leading countries for international interest in buying property in the emirate, according to a recent analysis by real estate platform DXBinteract.

The analysis, covering June through August 2026, found that India accounted for 16.3% of all international digital interest and property searches recorded during the period. The United States made a notable advance, securing second place with a 13% share.

The US recorded its highest position in DXBinteract’s rankings to date, making its rise one of the most significant developments during the period. The shift indicates a broader base of potential demand for Dubai properties, with markets that had not previously led the rankings now moving into prominent positions.

US Records Notable Rise in Interest in Dubai Real Estate

DXBinteract’s data shows that Asian, European and American markets continue to feature prominently among countries showing the greatest interest in Dubai real estate, although the latest analysis reveals noticeable changes in their rankings.

India led the list with 16.3%, followed by the United States in second place with 13%. The United Kingdom ranked third, accounting for 10.7% of international interest.

Pakistan secured fourth place with a 5.4% share, followed by Saudi Arabia in fifth with 4.4%. Egypt ranked sixth, contributing 3.7% of the total interest recorded.

Canada came seventh with 3.5%, followed by Australia in eighth place with 3%. France ranked ninth with 2.9%, while Singapore completed the top 10 with a 2.5% share.

The United States’ move into second place stands out as a significant development in the latest findings. It marks the country’s highest ranking in DXBinteract’s analyses, placing it ahead of several markets that have traditionally appeared near the top of the list.

The geographical distribution also highlights the range of international markets showing interest in Dubai properties, spanning Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.

Top 10 Countries Account for 65.4% of International Interest

The analysis found that the 10 leading countries collectively accounted for 65.4% of all international digital interest in Dubai real estate recorded between June and August 2026.

The combined share of the top 20 countries reached 80.4%, while the remaining 19.6% was distributed among other international markets.

These figures illustrate the geographical reach of interest in Dubai’s property market, with potential buyers searching for real estate opportunities from a wide range of countries.

They also demonstrate the importance of monitoring online property searches to identify markets where interest in Dubai developments is increasing and to better understand where potential demand may originate in the coming months.

International Interest Opens New Opportunities for Dubai’s Real Estate Market

Fateh Al Msaddi, founder of real estate platform DXBinteract, said the Dubai Land Department provides accurate and reliable information on property transactions, prices, transaction volumes, locations and developments. However, it does not currently publish an updated public database that allows actual property transactions to be classified by buyers’ nationalities.

Al Msaddi explained that the absence of such data makes some widely circulated rankings of the nationalities purchasing the most properties impossible to verify across the entire real estate market.

He added: “Reports by some real estate companies on buyers’ nationalities primarily reflect their own client mix, rather than the market as a whole, as certain companies specialize in serving particular groups of clients.”

Al Msaddi noted that analyzing property searches, digital interest and the geographical distribution of visits to real estate platforms provides, in his assessment, the best available leading indicator of international interest, given the absence of updated, publicly available official data on buyers’ nationalities.

He emphasized that digital interest indicators are not a substitute for actual property transaction data. Instead, they measure the stage preceding a purchase, when potential buyers begin searching for properties, comparing prices and exploring available developments.

These indicators can help track international interest and identify markets that may generate additional demand for Dubai properties in the future.

International Interest Could Translate Into Property Demand in Q4 2026

Al Msaddi said the high level of international interest in Dubai’s real estate market indicates the presence of a pool of potential buyers whose interest could translate into actual purchases in the coming months.

He stated: “The high levels of international interest in Dubai real estate reflect the existence of a pool of potential buyers that could translate into actual demand during the fourth quarter of 2026.”

He added: “This data helps us identify the markets from which future demand may come, while actual transaction data remains the decisive indicator of whether interest has translated into purchases.”

Al Msaddi also explained that a decline in a particular country’s digital visibility should not necessarily be interpreted as a reduction in its actual property demand or the number of completed transactions.

Rather, it indicates a decrease in the level of interest that can be measured online and does not provide a definitive picture of actual purchasing activity.

The findings offer an early indication of potential demand trends in Dubai’s property market ahead of the final quarter of 2026. However, registered property transactions remain the primary measure of actual sales activity.

Diverse International Markets Strengthen Dubai Real Estate’s Global Reach

India’s position at the top of the international interest rankings, alongside the United States’ notable rise and the continued presence of the United Kingdom, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, reflects the diversity of global markets showing interest in Dubai real estate.

This geographical spread highlights the international reach of the emirate’s property market, with potential buyers from different parts of the world continuing to explore available real estate opportunities.

DXBinteract’s analysis covered the period from June through August 2026 and excluded local demand originating within the United Arab Emirates. Its purpose was to measure the distribution of international digital interest by country.
