Beyond his extensive business engagements, Yusuff Ali actively participates in various social initiatives and organizations. A significant milestone in his career was his election by the UAE business community as a Director Board member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI), marking the first instance of an expatriate being elected to the Director Board of one of the world’s most prosperous business regulatory authorities. Additionally, he was unanimously appointed by the Board members as the Vice-chairman of the esteemed Trade Committee of the ADCCI. Subsequently, in 2009, he was re-elected to the Director Board of ADCCI with overwhelming support from the UAE business community.

 

In 2021, Yusuff Ali was appointed as the Second Vice Chairman of ADCCI by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the current President of the UAE, making him the only non-Arab to achieve this feat of being elected to the Director Board of ADCCI for a record four consecutive terms.
