China Securities Expands Middle East Operations with New Office at Dubai International Financial Centre

Mirae Asset Opens New Office at Dubai International Financial Centre to Strengthen Regional Presence

China Securities is expanding its presence in the Middle East with a new office at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), following the approval of its licenses to operate from the center. The move gives the Chinese investment bank a regional base to strengthen its relationships with clients, investors, and financial institutions while supporting closer connections between Chinese, UAE, and international capital markets.

DIFC confirmed the development on Monday, September 28, 2026. Headquartered in Beijing, China Securities is one of China’s leading investment banks, offering a comprehensive range of securities and financial services. Its expansion into Dubai forms part of its long-term plans to develop its international business.

New Licenses Support China Securities’ Expansion in Dubai

China Securities has received a license from the DIFC Authority to conduct business in the region through its new office. It has also secured a license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), the independent regulator responsible for overseeing financial services and related activities carried out within or from DIFC.

The Dubai office will serve as a strategic base for the company, bringing it closer to clients, investors, and financial institutions across the Middle East. It will also help strengthen links between capital markets in China and the UAE, as well as other international markets.

The company’s decision to establish a presence at DIFC reflects Dubai’s role as an important gateway for investment flows between Asia and the Middle East.

Dubai Strengthens Its Appeal to Chinese Banks and Financial Institutions

The new office builds on an ongoing relationship between China Securities and Dubai International Financial Centre. As part of their cooperation, DIFC has worked with the company to introduce investment opportunities in Dubai, help it gain a better understanding of regional markets, and support its long-term international expansion plans.

China Securities now joins a well-established group of Chinese banks and financial institutions operating from DIFC, which is home to the only cluster of Chinese banking and financial institutions in the UAE.

The group includes Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Other institutions based at the center include China International Capital Corporation and China Merchants Bank International, alongside several leading securities and financial services companies.

The five largest Chinese banks operating at DIFC collectively account for more than 30% of total assets in the center’s banking and capital markets sector, reflecting the scale of their presence in Dubai.
