Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, praised the positive results and continued achievements of the Dubai International Financial Centre as part of efforts to strengthen Dubai’s position among the world’s leading financial hubs.

These results support the goal set by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, under the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position the emirate among the world’s top four financial centers.

Dubai International Financial Centre Continues to Deliver Positive Results

Sheikh Maktoum said through his official account on X: “The Dubai International Financial Centre continues to achieve positive results and successive accomplishments, advancing Dubai toward the goal set for it by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum under its D33 Economic Agenda to become one of the world’s top four financial centers.”

The results recorded during the first half of the current year reflect the continued strong growth of the center’s operations, as well as its ability to attract more companies and institutions working across the financial, technology, and innovation sectors.

10,000 Companies Registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre

He continued: “In its results for the first half of the current year, the number of active registered companies in the center exceeded 10,000 for the first time in its history, with annual growth of 30%. The number of artificial intelligence, financial technology, and innovation companies increased to 1,933, recording growth of 39%, alongside the continued expansion of family businesses and institutions.”

Surpassing 10,000 active registered companies represents an important milestone in the history of the Dubai International Financial Centre, particularly as the achievement was recorded for the first time while the center also posted strong annual growth of 30%.

This advanced performance highlights the center’s appeal to local, regional, and international companies, as well as its ability to provide an integrated business environment that supports institutional expansion and helps companies reach new markets.
