Dubai International Airport Announces Gradual Flight Resumption and Travel Guidelines

Dubai Airport

Dubai International Airport (DXB) has shared new details regarding the phased return of flight operations, as a limited number of services begin operating again. The announcement comes as part of a carefully managed plan to restore air traffic while ensuring smooth coordination with airlines and relevant authorities.

Airport officials have clearly stated that passengers must not head to the airport unless they receive direct confirmation from their airline that their flight is scheduled to depart. Entry to the airport will be restricted to travelers with confirmed bookings on operating flights, a step aimed at preventing congestion and maintaining organized procedures.

According to DXB, the resumption process is being handled in collaboration with airline partners and concerned authorities, with ongoing assessments of operational conditions. Any new developments will be communicated through official platforms, and travelers are encouraged to rely on trusted sources for real-time updates.

The airport also cautioned that flight schedules may continue to change due to aircraft repositioning and adjustments within airline networks. Even passengers who have already received confirmation are advised to monitor their airline’s website or mobile application regularly, as last-minute changes remain possible.

At this stage, priority is largely focused on outbound flights, with operations expected to expand gradually depending on airspace availability and overall capacity. This structured approach is intended to ensure a safe and efficient return to regular travel activity.

DXB further explained that decisions regarding which flights operate rest with individual airlines. These decisions depend on factors such as aircraft location, crew readiness, and airspace capacity.

As the aviation landscape remains fluid, additional schedule modifications may occur. Travelers are therefore strongly encouraged to check directly with their airlines before leaving for the airport to avoid disruptions and ensure a seamless journey.
