International Commodity Exchange Summit 2026

The Museum of the Future in Dubai will serve as the venue for the International Commodity Exchange Summit 2026, taking place on Thursday, January 29. The event will bring together a high-level delegation of government officials, food security authorities, agricultural exporters, commodity traders, and logistics leaders.

The summit aims to provide a strategic platform to explore current challenges facing global food and commodity supply chains, assess associated risks, and develop collaborative, actionable solutions to enhance stability and resilience in international trade.

Philippe Verlhac, CEO of the International Commodity Exchange, emphasized the urgent need for cooperation in light of increasing global uncertainties. “The world can no longer afford to assume that food and agricultural product supplies will continue uninterrupted. We’re entering a period that demands much closer collaboration between governments and real-world markets. This summit is about bringing together exporters, importers, policymakers, and traders to ensure instability does not escalate into a full-blown crisis,” he said.

The event is expected to witness strong participation from leading agricultural nations, major food-importing countries, and key UAE authorities involved in food security. Prominent commercial institutions and market makers operating in global food flows will also be present, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a hub for international dialogue and trade resilience.
