Al Habtoor: Management, good planning and quality are the most important elements for successful project implementation

Al-Habtoor Group emphasized the significance of sound management, effective planning, quality, and timely execution in undertaking large and successful projects, while also stressing the importance of incorporating aesthetics in the buildings and facilities being developed in Dubai, adding further beauty to the “Pearl of the World”, Dubai.

His Excellency Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, the founder and chairman of the group, stated during a dialogue session on the final day of the ninth edition of the Dubai International Project Management Forum, themed “Future Trends and Technology” moderated by Raya Ramal, that while achieving success and reaping gains might be accessible, sustaining success and continuing the journey while maintaining leadership and excellence prove to be challenging.

He reflected on his practical beginnings in the contracting, construction, and building sector, which he embarked upon in Dubai at the age of 16, highlighting the practical challenges he faced during that phase, the achievements realized by the grace of God, and the dedication, determination, and strong will of the great men who aimed for the renaissance and progress of this country, under the leadership of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, may his soul rest in peace.

Al Habtoor underscored that among the key characteristics of executing projects entrusted to individuals or companies are respecting and valuing time, adhering to specified deadlines for delivery, personally overseeing all stages, ensuring precision, and maintaining work quality, thus showcasing architectural work at its finest.

He urged all those involved in the construction and building sector, especially young engineers, to recognize the importance of leveraging technology and embracing modernity in the field of construction, alongside enhancing their managerial skills in addition to their engineering expertise.
